“We stayed for 7 nights and had a wonderful time. Our room was clean, the service was good and the people were extremely friendly. The night life parties are wonderful and pools and shows are very very nice. We lost our cell phone, but it was returned. Very friendly and English speaking staff were Edwin (bell boy), Anna (Aqua instructor), Rosa (aqua instructor), Monica (concierge at Colonial lobby) and Vanessa (Travel club White Sands). Because of these people 😀, we would return to this place. The only complaint we have is the Colonial pool always ran out of towels and certain restaurants are only open one day a week. Such restaurants should not be allowed on the resort if they can not be open at least 5 days a week. Other than that, it is a kid friendly and adult friendly clean resort. We stayed in room 1622.”

Cena en el restaurante a la carta El Dorado: no traíamos grandes expectativas pero la verdad es que los cortes de carne las han superado con creces. El punto de la carne estaba perfecto y ambos platos han sido muy sabrosos. Las guarniciones también estaban muy buenas, pero lo mejor ha sido el servicio de nuestro camarero Miguel, que nos ha atendido rápido y muy bien. De lo mejor del resort, lo recomiendo.

Nos ha encantado nuestra vacaciones en el Grand Palladium! El servicio es excelente y nuestra habitación esta muy bonita! Si es verdad, como los otros comentarios han mencionado, la playa tiene sargazos. Pero eso no es la culpa del hotel, y eso no nos amargó nuestra visita. Tuvimos una excelente semana y tenemos planes de regresar el año que viene!

Fuimos la semana pasada de luna de miel durante una semana. Me lleve bastante chasco con la playa,obviamente el tema del sargazo no es culpa del hotel,pero nose si quizas un poco mas de mamtenimiento si podrian dedicarle,aunque parcticamente no habia playa ni arena,parecia mas tierra blanca... El hotel es bonito,y se veia limpio. El personal,la gran mayoría muy serviciales y simpaticos,eso si,muy muy lentos;teniamos que pedir varias veces la bebida porque se les olvidaba. Pagamos una villa romantica,de esas que tienen una ducha en el exterior. Nunca llegamos a ducharnos fuera; con todo lo que llovió se puso todo lleno de hojas y ramas que no limpiaron,aparte de que estabamos en la plata baja,y perfectamente,los vecinos de arriba,si se asomaban al balcón podían vernos. La habitacion era bastante amplia, pero tuvimos que quitar el aire,hacia muchisimo frio aun subiendolo a 29°,esto hizo que se condensara el techo donde estaba el aparato,y cayeran gotas de agua,de manera que el pasillo de la habitacion donde estaba el armario,estaba continuamente mojado. Ni siquiera poniendolo en ventilacion. La limpieza en la habitacion,inexistente. Lo unico que hacian era hacer la cama,cambiar las toallas y reponer gel o agua. Habia telarañas en la lamparita de la mesa de noche y dentro del armario. La taza del vater por dentro,no la limpieron hasta el cuarto dia de estar alli... Con respecto a la comida,el mejor buffet era La Hacienda,gran variedad y casi todo rico. En cuanto a restaurantes tematicos probamos el japones,Porto fino,La Adelita y Poseidón. El único que medio se salva es el Poseidón,el resto,un desastre. Que decepción con el mexicano,el japones pésimo,pero es que el italiano es mediocre. Tambien estuvimos en la cena del 20 aniversario que hicieron especial en La Hacienda,y fue el día que menos comimos... Esa noche montaron un espectaculopara celebrarlo. Los cantantes pasables,los bailarines descordinados,de chiste,y el tecnico de audio no es que ayudara precisamente. Pusieron en la playa 3 barras donde servian la bebida...muy mal desorganizados,los camareros estaban desbordados,no daban a basto,se quedaron sin hielo y teniamos que movernos de un barra a otra Creo que aune quedan algunos años mas para coger algo de experiencia... No creo que recomiende este hotel

This resort is just amazing! My experience here as a teen was great with the super nice workers and there is a juniors club that is so fun to interact with others. Also there is an worker who is so fun and kinda named Diego he deserves employee of the month. Then the food service is out of this world foods that will make your mouth water and don’t get me started on the gigantic pool and the bars it’s just great.

Beautiful resort, staff are very friendly and helpful. You are never left wanting and tend to your every need. Zero issues. Liz one of the pool waitresses was awesome, we had a young baby and child in our group and she never passed without saying hello and making sure we were OK and needed anything else. A credit to the hotel. Thank you for a great holiday

Elegimos este hotel para disfrutar de nuestra luna de miel y sin duda ha sido todo un acierto. Por hacer un poco de crítica, las actividades nocturnas son muy temprano, lo que si cenas un poco tarde (sobre las 9) no te permite ver el espectáculo y el wifi en las instalaciones funciona regular, existiendo zonas en el recinto en las que no funciona siquiera.Hacer sin duda una especial mención a Ana la animadora, que nos hizo pasar un rato muy agradable, siendo una chica encantadora.

We have only been here a few days & I will write a full review later. I felt I must write to say a massive thank you to La Hacienda Manager, Alberto May. At breakfast, the last few days we have often asked for things & the staff have not been able to provide them. However, Alberto heard of our requests & without hesitation managed to find everything we needed. No request is a problem for him. He is always smiling & very welcoming. If all the staff in this hotel were like him, we would have a fantastic stay. Thank you Alberto.

the pool was excellent , nice and large and the swim up bar was great. the activities in and around the pool were great and the POP Team were all very friendly. the food was good but not great and the service was only sometimes slow, but when it was given it was good. the rooms were great and cleaned daily . the location is great and is nice and close to lots of great excursions. DIEGO at the BLACK AND WHITE JUNIOR CLUB was great, kind, hard working, and always happy to help while you are there. i would give it 4.5 stars if possible.

We loved our time here. The resort is HUGE. We stayed a full week and never saw it all. There was some food that was amazing but the buffets are sub par. You cannot beat the staff. So pleasant and eager to help. A comment on resorts in general: they should be focused on helping you be the happiest on vacation. In some ways they are, but really have room to grow in others. For example, my daughter injured her knee while there (off resort property) and could not walk on it. Long walks are required at this resort. They had a wheelchair but we would have had to rent it for a ridiculous fee. We settled on crutches and thus had to limit what we did on resort to just what was immediately around our room. Another example, we wanted to get a pool floaty for her to use in pool so she could keep her bandage out of the water...$45. we found snorkel and goggles on property for $65... Same item is under $20 anywhere else. Lowering prices on these things would go a long way towards increasing happiness of the guests.

Excelente hotel muy buena limpieza y habitaciones en un hábitat de selva hermoso, especial para ir con la familia, el kid club es excelente! Es la segunda vez que lo visitamos. Punto aparte ora la comida, que en esta última visita fue de terror!!!! Todo fría, muy poca variedad , para mi es consecuencia de la falta de personal en general. Ha caído muchísimo la calidad del hotel en general. Una lástima porque era un hotel que me encantaba.

Gave 2 star because of servers and great people, if it wasn't for customer service would give 1 star. The hotel needs updating and better housekeeping( see pics) . 24 hour sport bar but the food is cold. Room service comes with a 15$ dollar fee and food is also cold. Dirty linen and restroom, I actually found a used shower gel from previous guest. Next time I will be going to go to Dominican Republic 🇩🇴 .

Os quartos são bons mas o mobiliário já antigo, merecia reforma. O serviço de frigobar funciona muito mal, estivemos 3 dias sem reporem água, foi preciso ir à receção reportar o fato. O buffet Hacienda é um dos nossos lugares preferidos. A simpatia e atenção de algumas funcionárias chamam a nossa atenção: Dorotea, Estefanía e claro a nossa querida Viridiana Naranjo.

Desde la agencia y desde recepción nos dijeron que nos harían un detalle de bienvenida por ser nuestra luna de miel. Mañana nos vamos y no nos han ofrecido NADA. Muy feo detalle. Los restaurantes temáticos son malos en general. Las playas estrechas y llenas de algas. El personal es amable en general. Muy buena experiencia con los chicos de la zona deportiva. El buffet es abundante pero faltan algunas cosas básicas. No repetiré en este hotel ni lo recomiendo.

Trato preferente del personal por las propinas (si veían que no les ibas a dar nada podías llegar a estar esperando para pedir una bebida entre 20 y 30minutos) . Se nos bloqueó la caja fuerte y tardaron 5h en venir a repararla y porque llamamos a recepción 4 veces. La mayoría de los enchufes no funcionaban. Poca disponibilidad para poder cenar en los restaurantes temáticos y buffet con poca variedad. Nada de animación en la zona de las piscinas ni playas. Para salir de fiesta no tienen nada y los bares de los lobbys cierran a las 2. Una mañana nos despertaron a golpes en la puerta las chicas de la limpieza interrumpiendo nuestro descanso, además de notar que nos faltaban algunas pertenencias al volver a la habitación. Nada recomendable 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼

Don't come here for the beach. It's rocky and full of sea weed!!! Yes they do try to clear it daily, but I never thought I would have to tell my child to watch out for the lorries and tractors on the beach every 10 minutes.The pool is good although again, if you have kids that have never used a slide, the staff expect you not to accompany them even though the sign clearly tells you to do so. In the mean time they allow kids to climb up the slides.Staff in the bars away from the main areas are very polite. Staff in the bars near the pool don't care about your order. Probably ruined by constant tiping which should be banned. Oh and there's a clearly a staff shortage. On Saturday most bars and restaurants were closed due to lack of staff.Food wise, there are a few very good restaurants. These are let down by the front of house staff. They have no idea if a reservation is required or not, and can be very rude. The buffet reception staff are very abrupt and rude. Shame really.So overall, a good pool, very poor beach, good choice of drinks and food and varying degrees of staff politeness.

I’m just frustrated honestly. I was so excited to stay here, especially since it was my first time in Mexico. However, I won’t be returning and honestly am just turned off by this place in its entirety. To begin, everything requires a reservation- the gym, eating dinner at their restaurants, the excursions… the thing I enjoy most about vacations is the flexibility to do what I want, when I want. This was the exact opposite. On top of that, the restaurants requiring reservations were not good; the standard buffet the resort offered was better, so don’t waste your time.We also bought tickets to the show at the Chic theatre. Before entering, my dad purchased a bottle of wine for us to enjoy at our table. There are 5 in my family, so we also asked to push the table seating 2 and the other seating 3 together, so we could all sit together. The waiter then proceeds to say that my dad needs to buy a bottle of wine for them to do this. My dad had already bought the bottle of wine (as mentioned), which he told the waiter, and the waiter then said he needed to buy another bottle if we wanted our tables together. WHAT!To note- the COVID tests they offer are not free. They are free with coupons you have to obtain from the front desk, and are free only if you stay 7 nights and confirm your reservation prior to a certain date. Nothing at this place is free, besides stress. It was one thing after another at this place… what else can I get you to buy, or try to sell to you? Unreal. I couldn’t wait to return home.

We just returned tonight from staying at the Colonial. I was curious and looked at the reviews now that we are home. It’s interesting how experiences can be so different. We, as a family, were disappointed. The food and service was not the best. The buffets got old and there’s no where to really just get a quick snack during the day. The pool at the colonial was nice and relaxing and we had great weather. We would’ve liked to see more entertainment around the pool area. The room was nice and big but very musty and we too had difficulty getting wifi at times. This was our first time with an all inclusive. I think my family decided even though there were some positives (pool was never crowded and room was big) we are sticking with cruises- you get more for your money and the food is amazing!

There are many reasons why this was a five star experience, I would make it higher if I could. So many activities for families to connect and engage, a beautiful space very clean and sophisticated, but most of all it was the staff. Daniel our driver took time to help us with our Spanish, Herbierta from Colonial was so warm and welcoming, Salvatore was awesome with snorkeling tips and having fun with our children, Mario was a great connector and ambassador, and Imelda from the buffets was so kind and sweet. What an incredible group of people to get to know and spend time with. We can’t wait to find our way back here again.

Stayed in their romance villa. Wasn’t informed when we arrived that there would be construction workers working/painting outside of our room for our entire stay. We weren’toffered a different room or compensated at all for this extreme inconvenience. We asked SEVERAL times during the stay if the workers could come when we were not at the room, instead of banging a ladder against the wall and painting right outside our window at 8 AM. Our requests were repeatedly ignored. The racket was constant and relentless.Workers on our balcony moved our personal belongings and took down our hammock so they could paint outside our door, also when we were inside of our room first thing in the morning. We couldn’t enjoy use of the balcony at all anyhow, because the paint fumes were so strong that simply opening the door was enough to give me a headache.One morning around 9:30 AM I heard someone trying to forcefully open our door, didn’t seem like room service. Sent my husband outside to find, of course, more workers painting on our balcony. Why they were trying to enter our room, I couldn’t tell you.Save yourself a MAJOR headache and DO NOT stay here. The visit was neither pleasant nor relaxing as a vacation should be. The hotel needs to be informing guests if there is going to be work done on their room so that they are better able to accommodate them. Or, better yet, don’t schedule maintenance and repairs on an occupied room? Don’t fill a room that you are planning on painting for 6 straight days.

Habitación: con humedad. Viejas. Cucarachas. No ha habido cambios de toallas.2. En el buffet siempre servían las mismas comidas. 3. La reserva del restaurante temáticos te dicen que las haga mediante una app la cual no funciona. Y cuando vas a reservar en mostrador te dicen que esta todo ocupado. Esto nada más llegar.4. El servicio de guarda maletas nos dice que nos las guarda bajo llaves que nos vayamos tranquilos y cuando volvamos a recogerlas vemos que estaban donde las dejamos. Habían estado 4 horas en el recibidor a lo que ellos quisieran

I honestly don't know why this place is a 4.6.... Steer clear of a lot of the restaurants.They are awful! Portofinos....gave my poor husband food poisoning for the entire week! The buffet food was just eh. The resort is so big you literally get lost. No one speaks a lick of English so no one communicates with you. It was just awful. Please...go somewhere else.

Estive hospedada com minha família por 1 semana e desde o momento em que chegamos até o momento em que fomos embora, fomos muito bem tratadas por todos, sem nenhuma exceção. Todos muito cordiais, gentis e prestativos. Não nos faltou nada! Agradeço imensamente pelos dias esplêndidos que pudemos passar no Hotel. Ficamos no TRS, Villa 70, muito bem atendidas pelo Roberto, Mariana e Jhovani. Os rapazes dos bares da infinity pool com drinks maravilhosos, o atendimento dos rapazes de carrinho, Armando e Francisco. Enfim, não temos nenhuma queixa, só boas lembranças. Obrigada a todos.

Hotel maravilhoso. Acomodações excelentes. Restaurantes fantásticos. Serviço impecável. Infraestrutura de piscinas, academia, clube kids muito boa e atrações para os hóspedes só com artistas de altíssimo gabarito. E o q me impressionou muito aqui no México é a atenção e simpatia do povo mexicano.

O hotel mais animado e onde se concentram os espetáculos noturnos. O serviço de bar à noite é caótico e fica muito difícil receber asbebidas pedidas. A piscina é ótima para famílias com crianças e por isso não recomendável para casais que procuram sossego. É o Hall preferido pelas agências de viagens e é onde vai encontrar os serviços da rent a car. O buffet de almoço fica próximo das piscinas e da área de praia onde pode nadar e é muito completo, encontrando boas soluções de alimentação saudável. O staff é muito simpático e durante o dia o serviço de bar é muito bom.

Me and my wife spent 8 nights (2 nights left) in Palladium Colonial. The staff is very nice and the green areas are beautiful. Unfortunately our experience is bad because both of us got food poisened. My wife got sick after the dinner in El Dorado restaurant. I got sick a couple of days later after eating chicken nuggets in La Hacienda. After that we skipped visiting a la carte restaurants. Another thing that we found troublesome is the internet. The speed very slow and sometimes it doesn't work at all. The room is the worst we have had so far on our travels. We got 4 person room with two tiny double beds. To silnik is dripping water when is raining. We have expected more from this place and the fact that we got sick from food here is a deal breaker.

Beautiful resort with amazing staff! Spent 10 days there in September for the 4th year in a row! Conclasse the band is amazing! The music is excellent and the band members are always so fun and welcoming! They put on a great show and really get the place hopping. Definitely a highlight of our stay at the resort!!!

We are a travel club members from 2013. We traveled to Palladium destinations in Mexico, Dominican Republic and Jamaica. Our favorite is Colonial resort at Grand Palladium at Riviera Maya. Beautiful location, warm sea, kind people. After reopening last November, it looks even better. Lobby at Colonial was renovated, night shows are open every night. All restaurants are reopened as well. Chic show is really spectacular, even better than before. We enjoyed it twice and left with a smile. Professional dancers at Chic and Colonial theatre are beautiful performers. Entertaining team at Colonial pool activity center was keeping us busy with water aerobics, yoga, ping pong, Steps, gravity abs, healthy drinks making, tequila testing, darts. We want to mention Daniel (ping pong, yoga, gravity abs), Yanko (water aerobics), Adriana ( yoga, healthy drinks), Lizet (steps), also Didi and Adriana who supervised entertainment teams. Pool team entertainment, we are appreciated for your hard work. You were great! Also, even though we stayed at Colonial, we had access to all resorts at Palladium, including TRS. We really liked gastronomy at La Dalia. Great food, lots of variety. Compliments to the chefs. Finally, thanks to our travel club reps. They were helping and assisting us during our stay ( Eliza, Louis, Johnattan). We highly recommend this resort and hope to visit it soon again!

Habéis hecho de nuestro viaje de novios el más maravilloso de nuestra vida. El personal increíble, las instalaciones preciosas, la comida riquísima, la habitación grande la cama cómoda, tuvimos un problema con la caja fuerte y vino seguridad y nos busco la solución rápido y eficaz. Si tuviera que sacar alguna pega es que se podría mejorar la limpieza de la habitación. Por el resto es precioso todo desde la vegetación y los animales como la riviera maya en general. Hemos venido enamorados de todo aquello. Millones de gracias.

Genial y muy divertida todas las clases de Daniel deAnimacion! Hicimos funcional, zumba ,jumping…todo buenisimo! Así da gusto comer y beber jajaja Las piletas con la barra en el Medio es muy buena y la fiesta de los 80’s fue un éxito. Las habitación re lindas y la limpieza impecable. Los protocolos se cumplen muy bien. Volvería sin dudas

Beautiful and huge hotel grounds where you feel like you're in the jungle! There's many animals (flamingos, iguanas, raccoons, coatis and so much more), an abundance of restaurants to choose from and everyone working there is extremely friendly. The beach is beautiful and there was always enough space during our 5-day-stay. Wifi works well. Check-in and -out were super fast.One star taken off because the rooms, albeit clean, were a bit aged and some things were broken. Not how we'd expect it from a 5*-hotel. Also, there weren't any towels two times we wanted to get them and the common areas can get extremely loud. They make you download an app to see restaurants and menus but it hardly ever works. The La Olas bar for example was shown as being open 24 hours but we went there a few times and it was always closed. A bit of a bummer as many other things were great.

I had paid so much money to come down to this resort with my parents for my brothers wedding. Our room, honestly had to be the worse room I have ever had and offered to pay even more for an upgrade but they said that they upgraded were upgrading us and it was a room slightly cleaner. Then we realized all the other guests from our wedding party had a room in the newer area of the hotel with much nicer rooms.

Acudí a una boda. La playa está bien aunque si se llega a ‘saturar’ de gente. Preferimos las albercas que son muy grandes.Me hubiera gustado un poco más de control por COVID en el área de buffet. Algunos platillos estaban fríos al servirte.El personal es muy amable en todo momento.

Estoy ahora mismo en él. Cuando llegas nadie te informa de nada. Ni de que necesitas una tarjeta que tienes que pedir en recepción para que te den toallas para la piscina ( hasta el segundo día no había disponibles), que hay que reservar vía aplicación los restaurantes para cenar... La habitación es grande y la cama cómoda pero el baño estaba sucio(la bañera aún no la han limpiado y llevo 5 días). Se rompió la mosquitera y hasta que no me quejé no la han arreglado. La caja fuerte funciona cuando quiere con las molestias que puede ocasionar no disponer de tus pertenencias. Se me ha ido la luz en varias ocasiones al usar un secador. En un bar de la piscina cada vez que pido una bebida de la carta no queda. La comida en general deja mucho que desear, hay un par de restaurantes que se salvan. Tenía una excursión a las 6 de la mañana y pregunté a la relaciones públicas como podía desayunar algo o si podían preparme algo para llevaraa esa hora, y me dijo que no daban ese servicio. Luego ese día a las 6 en uno de los bares ponían algo de desayuno, eso si eran las 5:58 y no te servían hasta las 6:00. Bueno esto es una parte de las cosas que no me están pareciendo de un 5 estrellas. No vuelvo a este hotel cuando vuelva aquí.

Beautiful resort with amazing food and excellent service. The staff goes out of their way to make your visit comfortable and enjoyable and never wanting for anything. Such kind people! Here for my brother's wedding and three days here is absolutely too short! The resort is so large with so much to do!

One of the best resorts I've been to. I've always been meaning to go back. The assortment of water activities that are free is large and awesome. The grounds is spacious. The weather is great all year round. A lot of tropical fruits in the buffets, mangos are my favorite, and enough restaurants to go to a different one every day of the week. Only wish the tennis courts were a bit better quality.

Everything about this place is perfect! The staff are all so friendly, specifically Salvador, Andrea and Daniel from entertainment were amazing. They were very friendly and made the vacation great. The food was amazing as well and the cleaning both for the rooms and sanitizing in between uses of tables and other equipment was executed well to ensure a safe vacation. I have only great things to say about Grand Palladium and would recommend it to anyone!

Hotel was great! Pool temp was perfect and travel beach club was awsome! Best part of my days! Victor, Ernesto and Catalina were amazing and very attentive and helpful. I am definitely coming back just for them and their service. If you want the best drinks and service go there!

Great hotel! The restraints were absolutely amazing. The pools were nice and there were so many activities. Special thanks to Abraham for doing archery and shooting with us. He did such a great job and made it so fun despite the rain. Adriana gave out such fun Spanish lessons and was so sweet to us. Pablo and Daniel ran black jack and bingo and were so kind to us. Celeste taught us salsa and was so energetic and kind. We loved every one of them and became friends. They had such a great entertainment staff!

Hotel was clean and peaceful. Very family friendly and accommodating of large groups. Entertainment group was amazing! Andrea, Adrianna, DeDe, and Jessica all became great friends of ours while we were staying here. They really got us involved into all of the activities around the resort which were all very fun. No complaints! :)

The food - disgusting. Multiple people got food poisoning while here. I threw up for 4 straight hours. When I asked for any type of medicine there was non, when I asked for a onsite nurse or doctor - nope nothing. Even calling room service for water to keep hydrated never came. I had to walk to the front desk at 4 am. Please don’t stay here if you don’t want to get sick and have terrible food for the price you pay. Not a 5 star hotel at all.

This place is soooooo relaxing. You can get a smoothie of your choice, lay in a field of hammocks or just get a massage to relieve stress. There are small lockers to lock up your belongings. The service is grade A awesome and some wild life to feed if you'd like. There's also a 2 large hot tubes, 4 saunas, a pool and a pool that will help soothe the shoulders and neck. You must use library voices here being as everyone is in relax mode.

Fantastic get there if you can was going to do a few lengths of the pool too big for me did some widths instead. Food was brilliant something for everyone. They were doing some improvements while I was there so a lot of building work going on but I never heard a thing and if it's improved then WOW can't wait to go back FANTASTIC

This place offers the best think free getaway. The staff that is employed here are very friendly, attentive and accommodating. The wildlife is even friendly. Buffet food is just alright. I enjoyed the restaurants food more than the buffet. So many options of things to do, it's endless choices of things that may bring you relaxation.
