Only two stars because most of the staff was very nice. I was disappointed very shortly after checking in. My first room had a very foul odor, I discovered that this is because housekeeping was mopping the floors with dirty water. I saw it with my own eyes! The floors were very sticky and again that foul odor 😩. we spoke with the manager the next morning and he did change our room however we purchased an ocean view room but we only had the pleasure of seeing the trees that blocked the view from the ocean. The big beautiful jacuzzi tub in the bathroom was so dirty I didn't feel comfortable getting in it. The shower and toilet were not cleaned as regularly as I would've liked. I would've done it on my own if I had some cleaning agents available to me, I've never wanted to get my hands on some Lysol so bad.. maybe some should be made available either in rooms or at the gift shop. People save money year-round to relax and enjoy time at these very exclusive and very expensive resorts, we deserve to have the best quality cleaned rooms and the best efforts from all staff members at all times. I was disappointed that I was unsatisfied with the level of cleanliness in several areas and that I found myself having to "make the best of my trip" because I didn't want to seem like I was being a nag. I would not recommend this hotel based on cleanliness alone. They didn't seem to have enough (room) towels to go around. Very nice staff but they have to step it up with the cleaning, especially during a global pandemic.

Stayed on the Lady Hamilton side and the rooms were very nice. Really cold A/C, good sized balcony with a drying rack, very clean and mini fridge restocked every day. Food was just okay. Lunch buffet left a lot to be desired. I just ended up making a big salad. Standouts were the steak restaurant and the jerk chicken Hut. Both of those were SO delicious! The nightly entertainment shows were shockingly good! Dancers were very talented! I loved that there was an adults only pool, in addition to the huge, beautiful main pool (which was full of kids). I was here for a wedding, which was set up beautifully. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. I generally do adults only resorts, but I'd defintely stay here again for a family friendly vacation!

Quinta vez en el Caribe y el peor hotel 5 estrellas en el que he estado (no ya en el Caribe, si no en mi vida) . Lo tiene todo para ser un gran hotel, pero gracias a sus empleados está en una decadencia absoluta. Falta total de mantenimiento y limpieza. Trabajadores antipáticos, vagos, ineficientes. Continuos cuchicheos y malas caras. La mayordomo más preocupada por venderte hacerte "member" y futuros paquetes vacacionales que por tu estancia actual. Sufrimos un verdadero acoso por su parte para que acudiesemos a una reunión con el objetivo de hacernos member (nos perseguía por el hotel, llamaba a la habitación, nos contactaba telefónicamente, dejaba recados a camareros... ) . Nos llegó a despertar el primer día de nuestra estancia a las 9 am para que acudiesemos a una reunión de 1h para vendernos sus paquetes promocionales, cuando le dijimos que no a la quinta vez de Insistir, llegamos a una situación fea, violenta e incómoda con ella. Nosotros fuimos educados y evasivos; ella directa, violenta y con mala estrategia comercial. Te hace exasperarte bastante, máxime cuando estas de luna de miel y has pagado una habitación romance villa. Llegó un momento que nos daba vergüenza salir por el acoso. Nuestro jacuzzi estaba averiado y el agua salía con barro, cuando se lo comentamos a la mayordomo nos dijo que los problemas los tratasemos en recepción. Tardaron un día en solucionarlo, considero deberían revisar esas cosas antes de dar las habitaciones, ya que cada noche tiene un costo de 500$ y nadie compensó no podernos ni duchar ese día. La falta de higiene es total, había un rollo de papel higiénico debajo de una silla cuando llegamos y ahí siguió cuando nos fuimos. Los restaurantes del hotel, salvo el japonés y el hindú, dejan mucho que desear. El vino es excelente, pero por mala conservación, lo sirven caliente y avinagrado. Colas de 1h para entrar a cenar, y cuando entras, las mesas están vacías y hay un ejército de camareros riéndose en cocina, nadie atendiendo mesas ni sirviendo bebida. Mucha gente se va sin cenar de estas colas al buffet, para servirse ellos mismos. Venden tener una amplia oferta de restaurantes en el resort, y la tienen, pero el usuario no llega a disfrutarla. Grand Palladium, habéis arruinado mi luna de miel en el Caribe. Supongo será una excepción lo de Jamaica, pero ni siendo una cadena de mi país volveré a elegiros.

The idea of this resort is great. The location is great. The views amazing. The service does not live up to it's 5-star status, not worth the money. The only service people that were not rude were the ones working for tips, everyone else was rude. They advertise free airport transfers, it's not true for everyone. The shuttle service inside the location comes by if and when they want to, there is a lot of walking in the heat. If you are disabled or elderly, this will be very hard on you. We traveled with my 70 year old mom and it was very hard on her and she is in great shape. There are two elevators and one almost never worked. The rooms are outdated. Overall I would say not worth the money they charge.

We visited this resort and had a great time. The rooms on the Jamaica side are horrible. We asked for a king received a double and the front desk did nothing when brought to their attention. The vacation group in the light blue shirts will hound you to purchase something with a timeshare.One bartender we met Omar is amazing. The entertainment is good. Everyone is friendly some food better than others. The drinks are great. Our covid testing at the resort was smooth also.

Great resort with nice amenities. We stayed in August of 2019 for a wedding. It was clean, safe, and things were usually always available (food, drinks, etc.). I would definitely stay again but I like to try new places. It's nice that there is an adult only side with adult only pools. We didn't take the kids but other family members did. We got to enjoy adult time while the kids were on the opposite side of the resort. No problem meeting up with them for meals or activities. Would recommend to anyone.

Great resort, great people. Rooms need upgraded but still comfortable and clean. Room service is great. I think other meats besides pork should be added to the breakfast menu; other than that, food was good. Some staff wasn't so pleasant but the nice ones changed the mood. I would recommend. Overall, beautiful resort.

I have been to many resorts and some were great and some not so much. However I have never been to a resort where the staff seem so miserable! There is not a friendly face, everyone seems bored or agitated with the simplest of questions. At every cafe, buffet, towel stand, hostess stand… I have been met with nothing but complete and blunt rudeness or disregard.I am in a party of seven and every single one of us feel the same. I paid for a poolside room, I have no view of the pool, and the shower leaks. My friends room had no blankets and took two nights to get and the sink was clogged. I made no complaints about this because I was so determined to have a good time, but the staff literally make it impossible to put a smile on with the negative energy they seem to exude. I love Jamaica and will always revisit… never ever again to this resort. And I would not recommend it to anyone who looks for that phenomenal customer service.

Un lugar espectacular, una de las playas más tranquilas, cristalinas y bonitas a las que hemos podido ir. Cómo hotel es realmente bonito, nos alojamos en la Zona Lady Hamilton por lo que no puedo opinar sobre la otra zona pero lo que si puedo decir es que las habitaciones son inmensas y muy modernas pero con un toque bastante local. La atención también es muy buena pero no hay que esperar que todos sean muy habladores con uno, todos son muy respetuosos aunque a veces no respondan, puede ser porque piensan que no hablamos inglés.con respecto a las actividades tiene de todo para hacer durante el día (desde actividades familiares hasta actividades para niños y hasta para bebes) y por la noche siempre tiene algún evento, fiesta o actividad por lo que es muy difícil aburrirse. Definitivamente un lugar para ir y volver muchas veces más.

Vacaciones de Navidad en familia (primera vez en Jamaica, primer experiencia en Palladium)HORRIBLE.Nos pidieron 40usd por dejarnos un pack de aguas en la habitación.Empleados muy antipáticos (solo un par eran muy agradables, chica de los mojitos frente restaurants y mozo resto italiano). Ninguna intención entender otro acento y actitud de que te estaban haciendo un "favor".Descuido en buffet con tapabocas requerido, un par de personas en 2 oportunidades, sirviéndose sin mascarilla.Ambiente bajo.Al punto que tuvimos que soportar una situación fuera de control, donde terminamos con agresiones y amenazas, teniendo que cambiar de habitación por una noche e irnos a la mañana siguiente a otro hotel por nuestra seguridad y la de nuestros hijos.MUY desagradable e inaudito en hotel 5*, donde 2 menores/2 mayores, las 10 noches nos costaron casi usd6000 . Todo este cambio obligado porque no tenían nada seguro que ofrecernos, bajo nuestro costo y sin devolución alguna de los días que no usamos o compensación de algún tipo.Muy mala impresión de la cadena hotelera, una verdadera desilusión.Muy mal manejo de los huespedes y pésima política al cliente.

Comprei um pacote all inclusive e de all inclusive não tem nada, o spa e pago, pra usar a ares molhada do spa e 25 reais por pessoa e a massagem varia de 125 a 300 por pessoa alguns pratos como lagosta e pago, vinhos seco e liberado e os outros pagos. as bebidas são péssimas pois só tem chopp kaiser e cerveja heikenner e kaiser, o coquetel e refresco industrial com vodca e gelo com sabor de remédio. Falta de informação total por parte dos funcionários. A reposição dos quartos e feita pela metade , não repõe tudo e agente tem que ficar ligando pra pedir, no quanto Você só tem direito a 3 cervejas e quatro refrigerantes e se você quiser mais paga 5 reais por lata. Resumindo não recomendo

Existem quartos muito barulhentos e as rãs das árvores podem ser muito barulhentas á noite, mas os quartos e a vista para o mar ė fantástica. O Hotel é muito bom, mas a recepção é muito má, nunca resolvem um problema à primeira e são antipáticos.

It's weirdly quaint and modern at the same time, cab, coach and shuttle drivers hurtle around whilst rest of staff languidly go about their business and language flipsbetween patois and broad English and conversations become tricky but all-in all so far very favourable !

As someone who's visited multiple hotels locally and abroad, I consider Grand Palladium pretty basic. The room was a decent size, however the toilet was leaking for a bit, but eventually stopped. And I think this is first I've been to a hotel of this type without elevators littered around the property. I didn't mind climbing the steps, but having to do it multiple times while having a toddler became annoying. But above most, I had an issue with the selection and variety of food. For some reason the protein and starch selections are the most limited I've seen at a hotel. And what is actually there left a lot to be desired. Overall my kid enjoyed it which was the main reason for coming, so that's why I gave 3/5, otherwise it would be 2/5. P.S - the WiFi was a joke, I've had more reliable Internet back in dial-up days and I'm not exaggerating. I literally spent a whole hr to connect and then get disconnected within 10 seconds. It works fine in the common areas, but sucks in the rooms.

We had a great time on vacation and a wedding we attended at this resort. Everyone was very accommodating especially Ornella Allen every time she seen anyone in our group of almost 30, she asked how we were and if we needed anything. She kept the drinks coming. She was awesome and was located in the outdoor area where the nightly entertainment was located. The resort took all extra precautions with COVID and did a great job.

Whoever said the customer service was great is getting paid to leave a review. Grand Palladium Jamaica is by far the worst resort I have ever stayed at. The service at a motel is better than this place. If you like to sleep in, don't bother going to eat because the buffett will have nothing left. I would ask for coffee every morning and would not get it until I was completely done eating. Don't give the wait staff too many requests because they cannot handle it. They brought me coffee, then went back to get milk, then went back to get sugar. They have too many tables with not enough people to assist so you end up waiting forever for everything. I read somewhere this place was updated in 2015 but that is clearly a lie. The ice machines are disgusting and I am not sure how the health department has not shut you dome. Enrico please do not respond with the same generic response, I don't want a response do something about it. I would never recommend anyone to visit this resort. I rate this a ZERO but I have to rate it 1 or I can't post.

This hotel has so much potential but unfortunately, the administration needs to get it together.From lack of communication to mediocre food and service, this vacation could have been greater.From others reviews rate, it seems that the theme is pretty common.Dirty bathrooms, to mold smell in the rooms to lack of common courtesy grand palladium has disappointed me.The front desks are lacking professionalism.And having them be the first interaction you have and it’s negative kind of gives the tone of how the rest of your vacation may go. I really wanted to blame a lot on COVID-19 restrictions and I do think that the hotel is counting on that as well. But cutting cost in many areas is affecting quality.There was no freshness to the foods, foods are lacking.Many things are not on the menu.The food was always cold which gave the impression that the food is not cooked there.No fresh orange juice in a Caribbean hotel is highly suspect.I feel like we are fairly easy going family that travel a lot.This was my kids first time and they themselves felt the difference in this vacation. I would def recommend Jamaica 🇯🇲 the people are lovely but I would not recommend the grand palladium to anyone.

We had an excellent time. Staff was very welcoming and accommodating. I had a problem with my closet door when I arrived and maintenance was there within 5 minutes. We loved it so much, we brought into their membership package. Private beach was very peaceful, clean and beautiful. Gym was clean and spacious. We even enjoyed the spa. Will definitely be checking out their other worldwide locations.

As a repeat Guest, i love everything about the resort. I am just never able to use all the services when i go so i cannot rate it a 5 but for what i have used it has definitely been great. The spa is simply breathtaking and there are 3 different beach sites on the same property, additionally, the entertainment is usually great and the restaurants are also wonderful.

Un lugar enorme y simplemente espectacular. Desde la calidad de las instalaciones que son de excelente nivel, pasando por la comida, tragos, playas, servicios de entretención y atención del personal, todo es muy bueno. Eso sí, cómo en opiniones anteriores, poco personal habla español, pero se entiende ya que gran parte de los huéspedes habla inglés, de todas maneras buscan al personal que habla español para que te ayude. Unas vacaciones redondas por dónde se les mire.

My instructor Rochelle was very helpful and understanding. Need to have classes more often. The staff at the buffet restaurants were very helpful. My experience at the Poseidon was not very pleasant. I am a vegetarian and was told the chefs would be accommodating. Not my experience.

The place was beautiful and that's where it ends. My daughter got married there and on her wedding day all guest (108 of them) were suppose to be picked up at 3:45 and taken to the nuptials. The hotel was totally unprepared. Some guests waited up to 45 minutes while were not picked up at all. Because of the screw up the bride and groom missed the entire cocktail hour with the steel band. We had to prepare order dinner in advance and when it finally came, guests did not get what they ordered because they ran out Terrible communication. The workers were very rude and accompanying. In some cases they wouldn't even look at you when trying to get service. The rooms were dirty and needed upgrading. I would not recommend a wedding or vacation at this location.

The view at the Sunset cove beach is beautiful with catamaran, boat rides all sort of water sports stuff, the water aerobics class with Rolando is what to talk about. The class was entertaining and full of energetic. Welcome all age and ability to jam to the wonderful music. I’m from Trinidad and he vibe is nice here. Try the jerk chicken as well. Delicious!

Un lugar perfecto para descansar y disfrutar de una bahía hermosa. La comida es muy buena. Las habitaciones dobles son iguales a las cuádruples por lo que para una familia es pequeña. A pesar de ser un all inclusive llevar dólares para propinas, de no dar propinas no van a tener ni mesa no agua.
