Loved this resort, was treated so well. Loved how assessable the commute to the parks were via the monorail. Food was great at the steakhouse on the premises and we got treated so wonderful. Love that they had a caricature artist there, even though we didn't have time to use them. They have pontoon boats that you can take out on the lake. They also have a fireworks cruise that you need to book in advance though. Wish I knew that when I made reservations. Check in and out was a breeze. You can do everything through your app.

My wife and I were doing the tour of the resorts when we visited The Contemporary. It is showing its age a bit and there were hardly any Christmas decorations inside. It is still a relatively cool looking hotel with a giant atrium. Unfortunately, trying to get a reservation for a restaurant is nearly impossible without months of advance planning. A hostess at Chef Mickey's was kind enough to give us a complimentary dessert plate which was fabulous. My wife and I were seated in the Outer Rim bar right next to the walkway into the restaurant. The Contemporary has a walkway over to the Magic Kingdom which is very convenient. As everyone knows, the monorails go right through the hotel so it is pretty convenient to pick up a ride.

Beautiful hotel for sure. Nice stores inside. Very friendly and welcoming staff. We were staying at another hotel but we came here to have breakfast/brunch with check Micky. My daughter loved all the characters coming to say hi to our table. The food was okay, $45 dollar per adult for breakfast it’s too high but again you paying for the experience, I wish they could just leave it as a buffet style so everyone can get what they want and how much they want instead of bringing few items at the table and that’s it. Our server was great.

The hotel itself is great. Love the convenient location. We also dined in Chef Mickey and had a good time. The elevator is kind of slow though. You may need to be careful when you check in. For our recent visit, I checked in using the app and went to the room directly. It was a theme park view room, although I booked a bay view room. I thought it is a free upgrade. When I left, I was charged for the price of theme park view room. It is really not good practice to upgrade my room without asking me first. I would be happy to upgrade if someone asked me and give me the option when I checked in. Now it feels like I was forced to upgrade my room.

I cannot begin to say enough good things about this truly exceptional hotel. My last visit was 30 years ago when I was a child and it has maintained its illustrious reputation. Visiting this fine establishment with my daughter is a memory I will cherish forever. In terms of convenience few hotels can compete with the Contemporary. How many hotels have a quiet monorail that will go through the building and take you to the Magic Kingdom in a matter of minutes? And did I mention there is no check-in! With the app, I went to straight to my room and I could open the door with my phone. While staying a premiere Universal Studio hotel, I had to wait an hour in line to check-in. The staff is extremely friendly. Chef Mickey's restaurant is perhaps the best character experience in Disney. The key characters like Mickey and Goofy will visit with your family and take many pictures. Guaranteed success with the little ones. It also has a nice selection of restaurants like Steakhouse 71. This is a marquee Disney Resort and room prices rival the Four Seasons. But make no mistake, this hotel is well worth it.

What a fun hotel! We always stay in the adjacent hotel, Bay Lake Tower, but always end up walking over to the Contemporary for either of the restaurants in the basement or top floor. The view of the sunset is thrilling atop at California Grill. The two pools are a delight as well. There are also rates G Disney movies played in the back area! Gotta love that monorail access too!

I cannot express in words the feelings of kindness, compassion, and overall helpfulness the team at this hotel showed, however I will try. We came late, confused, needing to get our Magic Pass assigned for our Disney adventure. Rafael and Nicole Marie greeted us with nice eyes, extremely positive vibes, and talked us off the ledge. They gave us free advice that really helped us and kept us excited. Disney managers, directors and HR team, take note that these two are the exemplary examples of why Disney continues to create memorable moments. I am grateful they were at the desk and so happy with my first day experience.

Truly the most magical place on earth. This Resort has the best staff, wonderful accommodations and they go out of their way to assist you. Why we stayed anywhere else I have no idea. We love the Contemporary and its location. The View was amazing.

If anyone out there is searching for great deals for hotel rooms go over to ʜᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴜʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏᴍ made a reservation for a hotel room on there and they had the best rates any where! Wonderful resort that has plenty of amenities to care for you. Our room was quiet and comfortable and clean. We did not have any issues at all during our stay. We would recommend this resort to family or friends and plan to go back, too. Cheers!

Wonderful place to stay. Rooms are on the small side, but very well designed to maximize space. Amenities are great. Several pools that are all nice, a couple opened 24 hours. The new gondolas stop at the resort giving easy access to Hollywood Studios and EPCOT. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the walls are a little thin. Not horrible, but you can hear walking and water running. If you don't have the money for higher end resort this is the place to stay.

Just a quick stop between parks, but everyone was super nice. The monorail pilot let us sit in the seat! So cool. Thanks for being so accommodating and welcoming. This was a great experience for my whole family! Go Disney!

The hotel is comfortable. It's is stylish and very welcoming. The beds are comfortable and I feel good after a night rest (usually at hotels my back hurts and I don't sleep well). The hotel is a short walk to the magic kingdom so the convenience is key. The staff/cast members are super nice and they are willing to help with anything. The views are nice. Last time we stayed we could watch the fireworks from our balcony. This time we have a view of the pool, but it's still over looking the bay lake. I recommend it, it's worth the cost.

A great Disney property that's conveniently placed close to Magic Kingdom and has the monorail that goes right through the hotel! You don't even need to go outside. There is a security line inside to check bags just like the Polynesian or Floridian so that saves you time when you get to the park. The game rooms and shops are top notch with fantastic staff ready to answer any possible questions. Finally, the pin trading here is great if you know who to ask!

Let me first start off by saying that when you come to Disney no matter what on site resort you stay at, it will be a great time. Take advantage of everything these places have to offer. My advice is to call Disney and speak to someone to help set up your trip. This will take care of any questions you may have and bring up any extras you get while staying at that resort. The Contemporary was awesome, the views and ease of using the monorail and how close it was to the magic kingdom made traveling around the Disney area easier. Everyone always had a smile and was exceptional in helping answering questions and pointing us in the right direction. I would absolutely recommend the contemporary for anyone that wants to come to Disney this hotel and everyone that worked here was amazing dare I say magical. We went for the Chef Mickey Brunch held at the Contemporary Resort. We had reservations and sorry, but don't know if that is a must or not. I would imagine so if you wanted a specific time you would want to reserve it. The experience was so much magical. The Mickey Clubhouse characters were there to visit with each child personally and pose for as many pictures as you wished to take with your children and your family as well. Autographs were a must!! Everyone was very accommodating. The brunch was fabulous. Breakfast foods and lunch foods were offered. Drinks and desserts rounded out the brunch. It was our main thing this time at Disney so we were prepared for the pricey experience. $50 per adult and $33 per child.(don't know the age limit).
