“I stayed here as my favorite hotel (Catalonia Ramblas, 4* sup) was fully booked over the Saint Jordi weekend. What makes this hotel worthwhile is the location. The accommodation itself is not anything special, the double bed was a bit squeaky when tossing and turning. The bathroom is quite big, and the rain shower is nice though water pressure seemed a bit off.
I personally would not consider this hotel 5-star, it is at best a 4-star hotel. The finishes are a bit dated and some elements are chipped, etc. which makes it less nice than many other 5-star hotels I have stayed at.
If you can find a good deal, then the location makes staying here worth it. If you want a true 5-star/luxury experience, you might be better off elsewhere.
The staff are very helpful and accommodating, however, and were willing to accommodate an early check-in at 11:30 AM.”
